I Was So Mad (Little Critter) (Look-Look)

Mercer Mayer’s very popular Little Critter stars in a picture book about feeling angry. With minimal text and funny illustrations to spell out every new situation, the book shows the Critter family saying no to everything Little Critter wants to do. He can’t keep frogs in the tub. He can’t help paint the house. Finally, mad at the world, Little Critter announces he will run away. When pals come by and ask him to come and play baseball, our young hero’s mood quickly changes. He grabs his bat and heads off for the game, telling himself he can run away another day if he is still so mad.

Question by some person: What are the names of the children’s books about finding Disney characters?
I had several. They were Disney books and they were like the “Where’s Waldo” books, or “I Spy”, except with Disney characters. On one page there was the town in Beauty and the Beast and you had to find certain stuff, and on another page was an egyptian temple and you had to find Pluto and stuff like that. Please help me with this. Thanks in advance.

Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book)

by admin on March 31, 2012

Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book)

Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book)

The original classic touch and feel book that has been entertaining babies for over 60 years.
“Judy can pat the bunny. Now YOU pat the bunny.” Sound familiar? Pat the Bunny is a part of childhood, as soothing as cocoa and animal crackers. Dorothy Kunhardt’s interactive book for babies and toddlers was one of the first of its kind when it was published in 1940, and it has since sold over six million copies. We pat the soft fur of the bunny, play peek-a-boo, look in the mirror, and then do it all over again. (And again and again and again.) After you Pat the Bunny with your baby, why not Pat the Cat and Pat the Dog? These two sequels were written by Edith Kunhardt, the daughter of the author of the original book. Both use the same tried-and-true Pat the Bunny format: sturdy cardboard pages with eight activities that wee ones can explore, from sniffing some brownies, to squeaking a teddy bear, to unfastening Grandma’s tennis shoe. The simple line drawings and pastel colors don’t do much for adults, but somehow they are just right for babies. This boxed set is a fine choice for a baby gift or first birthday present, and a lifesaver on a long car trip. (Baby to preschool) –Marcie Bovetz

Question by Sandy W: Have you heard about the new USA law banning all children’s books, clothes and toys made before Feb. 10, 2009?
This new law will affect all of us already having troubles in these hard economic times. It will affect all those businesses that sell children’s items. And will all these things be put into landfills? Will libraries burn all the old books? Will schools have to buy all new ones?

Best answer:

Answer by DAR
They all have to be tested for lead or can’t be sold. It is a problem especially since they will be deemed a hazardous substance and can’t even be thrown away w/o following hazardous waste laws, even though noone knows they are hazardous.

Another example of unintended and stupid consequences of Congress exceding its Constitutional powers in trying to save the world.

stop ranting, except that those rules are pending some sort of confirmation by Congress because it is NOT what the law says….

I Am Brave: At School (Simple Stories For Building Strong Character Traits In Your Children)

I Am Brave: At School (Simple Stories For Building Strong Character Traits In Your Children)

Instilling wholesome, moral character traits in your children starts when they are young.

To help ensure your child grows up strong, with a healthy belief in who they are and what they stand for- you must teach them! Because if you aren’t teaching your children- someone else is…

With all the negative influences from school, television and video games- every child desperately needs positive reinforcement.

Unfortunately we don’t always have the time or energy to teach our children.

That is why I’ve developed these quick, easy-to-read books. It won’t take you more than five to fifteen minutes to read the story and explain the important aspects to your child.

To make it even easier, I add 6 questions you can ask your little one after you read the story. There’s even a short, sweet, two paragraph summary at the end that ties everything together.

In this short, simple story, your child will see, and understand bravery. It will explain to your little one that just because you’re scared- doesn’t mean you aren’t brave. Bravery is about doing the right thing even when you’re scared.

If you want strong children with high moral integrity- you MUST teach them while they are still “wet cement”.

And It’s Never Been Easier...

Question by The Money Cat: Would you group Coraline with these other children’s books?
Would you group the book Coraline with Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Peter & Wendy, and The Wizard of Oz ? I’m just wondering since they are all children’s books written in third person point of view with a female child protagonist who travels into another world. Can you please tell me your reasons for grouping, or not grouping, these books together? Thank you.

Best answer:

Answer by XenonVotex “Team Voldemort”
Alice’s Adventuer’s in Wonderland, yes. I don’t see why it should be grouped with the other two, though. I don’t see the connection.

KidTrax Dodge Charger Police Car w/Lighting Mod

DETAILS ARE BELOW BUT PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING ME **********LINK FOR THE LIGHTS IS UP TO DATE!***************Due to the amount of questions I have received about this, here is my advice…..Here is a link… www.ebay.com Just request whatever colors you want. Legally he cant display the red and blue lights on ebay. The first set he sent me were all white after I requested 2red and 2blue and he quickly shipped me the correct ones so I was able to keep all 4 whites and the red/blues for the price of one set. It worked out in my favor. !!!Steering wheel, dashboard, and headlight panel removal is required for this particular process!!! The lights come with a CONTROL BOX which I hardwired to the wires using quick-clamp wire connectors (google them…any hardware store has them). Get a medium size as the cars wiring is quite thick. **RED GOES TO RED/BLACK GOES TO BLACK** I mounted the control box with velcro to the underside of the passenger dash and if you noticed while assembling the car there is a removable channel down the middle of the floor from the dashboard to the seat where existing wiring is run. If you remove the seats you expose a screw for the shifter handle. Remove screw and slide shifter handle out. I ran my wires through that channel all the way back to the battery area under the driver seat. The front light wiring: I drilled out a hole big enough for the quik connectors into that little cupholder thing under the passenger dash and ran 2

Evening Chat
children of the lamp

A few elderly people were chatting the evening away, while a dog found refuge behind them from the din of children playing nearby.

This is a collaboration of pictures I took throughout the project of building a model of Optimus Prime. I’m not really big into models but I found a model kit at a local hobby store of this Peterbilt truck which was similar to Optimus and just couldn’t resist… and so after couple of months of working (between college and my job) this is the final product. I gave this one, the original, to my sister for Christmas 2008 because shes a huge TF fan. But now (as of June 2009) I have begun working on my next big project… and guess what??? NA NA HA HA IM NOT TELLIN!!! Thats right. Im trying to keep it kinda secret until its done. You’ll just have to subscribe to see what my next project is gonna be when I finish it hopefully by mid – late September 2009, I can only promise that it’ll be just as good, if not better than this one. To make this model I bought two of the Peterbilt kits, one for the truck and the other for spare parts and extra material. I cut the first one in half right through the sleeper cab portion and extended the cab and chassis 0.5 inches. With alot of sanding, gluing and filler putty I made the joints between the extension smooth and painted over them. The rear fenders were made completely from scratch using spare plastic scavenged from the other model kit. I made a wood block of the exact shape for the fenders as a template. I applied heat to the plastic using the bulb out of a lava lamp (those bulbs are made to have an intensely warm radiance which wont
